In my opinion the most important invention ever to be invented was electricity. A person can accomplish so much with electrity. Electricity allows so much advancement in technology that the world now could not operate without it. Not only has electricity paved the way for light, but others great ideas such as: batteries, electric cars (gotta have those), radios, computers, t.v.'s, and much more. Compared to every other invention that was ever made, in my opinion, electricity outshines all of them.
If electricity didn't exist, the only light that would appear would be from the sun, the moon, and fire. Electric light is almost something that people need in order to function. Without this type of light, many nights wouldn't be as exciting, productive and simple as with light. Electric light itself is an invention I would consider to be in the top 5 inventions. Its prominence in everyday life is only beaten by electricity itself and cars.
This invention has had the greatest impact over time because no other invention could get us as far as electricity. For example- the invention of the telephone. The telephone is an incredible idea that has formed into pocket- sized mini- versions of itself. However, electricity powers phones. Without the electric current running through the phone, the phone could not operate. Another example are planes. Planes are obviously used to travel people or items across a large amount of miles. There might even possibly be one day where planes don't require electricity. Even so, planes are only used for travel and the invention of electricity is used for many, many other functions.
Imagine life without electricity. Our world today would be so dull, boring and outdated that technology itself would probably take about 3 times the amount of time it takes to advance. In other words, many inventions now wouldn't exist without the invention of electricity (they probably would eventually come about in the years 2200 and onward. Moreover, with less inventions to be invented without electricity, cures and other extremely useful remedies would not be relevent today.
In conclusion, I believe the greatest invention ever to be invented was electricity. Electric light wouldn't have been invented without the electric power to guide it. No other invention is more useful and technological than electricity. Finally, a world without electricity would be lifeless. The ivention of electricity has created an opening in the ideas of tons of other inventions.

I think electricity is the best invention too. Without it the world would not be the same. Our lives possibly would be dull and not full of energy. There probably would be less deaths (electricution or hit by a car). But i would rather take the risks. Electricity is our lives.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Derin that electricity is the most important invention. If there is no electricity there would pretty much be no survival because most of the world is powered by electricity. In the near future we might not need electricity for power and we will use the sun as an alternative. This was an interesting blog.
ReplyDeleteTo begin with electricity is not an invention but something found in nature. BUt if u were talking abotu adopting a way to harness electticity i agree. Most of our lives depend on it from seeing at night to allowing us to talk to each other. Actually the majority of nations depends on electricity to run. Overall i think ur was blog was alright minus the mistake. You got ur feelings out pretty well.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Evron electricity is not an invention, or man-made. But finding so many different ways to use it in our society is something I can really agree on. I can also agree on is that with out so many inventors finding those ways to use electricity our world would be lifeless. There would be no technological advances that happen almost everyday. Your blog was good.
